During the famous Jagannath Rath Yatra, the sevas from devotees to Lord Jagannath is generally conducted through online portals meant for the same purpose. Here are a few sevas that the devotees book through the online seva centres.

Annadana Seva:

Thousands of devotees usually visit the Pure Devotion Foundation during the Jagannath Ratha Yatra. If feeding the needy, or the sadhus, appeals to you, or if you are generally very hospitable to people around, and feel charitable urges.

You can donate a sum to the cause of annadanam programme going on here. The Mutt will use the money to prepare fresh meals that are served the whole day. Annadana is a sacred service which bestows punya for a lifetime. As per scriptures, the best of danas is Anna dana. You are ensured good karma by donating to such a good cause.

Archana And Aarti Sevas:

An Archana is a puja done in the name of the devotee to the Lord. It is a mini puja which involves offering of flowers along with chanting of hymns. During Rath Yatra, the priests will perform this seva to the Jagannath idol every day, You can get it performed either in your name or in the name of your loved ones. An Aarti is generally performed to express your gratitude to God.

The priests move the Jyoti clockwise in front of the Lord along with singing the slokas and chanting the mantras. The blessings of Jagannath will give you the desired results.

Chappan Bhog Seva:

This is the most delicious seva of all. This is composed of a set of 56 tasty savories and sweets which is together termed as Chappan Bhog, that is served to God as a special prasad daily during Rath Yatra.
This is distributed to the devotees during the event, The Mutt people will serve the Chappan Bhog to those who visit their mutt.

Vastra Seva:

Offering silk clothes to the deity has been done from a long time in temples. Those who offer clothes or vastra will be blessed with fortune and prosperity.
By booking this seva, you can get a chance to offer vastra to Jagannath and receive his blessings.

Tulsi Puja

Tulsi Puja is yet another seva that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Offering the Tulsi to Lord removes the past sins and takes them on a path of spiritual journey.
Booking this seva to Jagannath during the Rath yatra will allow the priests to perform the Tulsi seva to Lord Jagannath.

There is yet another aarti seva coupled with the Tuslsi offering seva which the priests do for the devotees. Once booked, this seva will be done and then sent to your home as prasad.

Vishnu Sahasranama

Vishnu Sahasranama seva involves chanting of the entire Vishnu Sahasranama in your name to the Lord On Ashadha Ekadashi. Firstly the seva starts with a sankalpa and then the puja will be offered on your behalf to the Lord.

Lotus And Tulsi Puja:

Lotus and Tulasi puja is offered on the Ekadashi day. Praying on the Ekadashi to Lord Jagannatha and offering him lotus and Tulsi will placate him the utmost.
Booking this seva will get you a Tulsi mala which is offered in your name to God. Pooja will be performed.

Apart from this the online portals conduct Geetha and bhagavatha daana, Mahalakshmi homa, Narasimha Homa, and Donation of Grocery kits to name a few.

You cannot find the same seva organization always working on the seva programmes. One has to check if the seva centres are closed or working and then only venture into the one that is working and book sevas as there are several seva centres that work through online means.
