Will He Be A Good Dad?
It is easy to become a father but it takes a special person to be a dad! After marriage, there is a need in every woman to settle down and have kids. But the greatest question that almost every woman fears is whether her partner is ready to be a dad yet. You just do not want a father for your child, you want a dad who is present and involved with the child. This is when you start wondering that will he be a good dad to your child?
Not that to qualify as a good dad, one has to pass a test. It is all about being physically and emotionally present for the child. Earning money, spending lavishly on the child, providing a comfortable lifestyle to your kid is definitely important. But attending his first football match, being present at the parent-teacher meeting, playing around the garden with your kid is crucial.

So, if you think you have just caught the perfect guy for yourself, find out if he is also going to be the perfect dad for your child. Here are some ways to tell if he will be a good dad:
Presence is important: His presence, physical and emotional is very important. You first have to ask yourself that is he present now? Does he tend to miss important events often? If he does not bother to attend the family events and functions or disregards important occasions, then it is more likely this will continue in the future also.
The balancing act: The demands of modern jobs are huge. This is often the reason why kids never get to see their fathers at home. However it is also crucial that you sometimes have to leave work and take time to care for your loved ones. So, see if he is able to leave his work sometimes and engage with you or his family. If he does, then he will surely take time out for his kid too.
His relationship with his father: Find out about how strong does he bond with his father. Discuss about his father with him. He may have a healthy relationship with his father or he may not like him at all. If he has some unresolved issues with his father, then there are chances that he will carry them in the future with his child as well.
His present involvement: Think about his present involvement with you. Does he keep his promises? How does he react to other's kids? If he cares about you and loves kids then you can be positive about him being a good dad.
He is funny: Children love to be with fun dads. Find out if your guy loves to have fun. If he does, then he is going to make a wonderful dad. Observe him when he plays with kids of his family. You will get the clue.
You can look for many more signs of being a dad in him. Holding a child in his hand for the first time will unlock many of his hidden sides to you. So, don't be worried he will surely make a good dad for your child.
