Couples trying hard to save their marriages and retaining feelings for each other will have no difficulty in bringing back the spark again provided they try really hard. Remember indifference in marriage can kill it gradually without anybody being aware until its too late.

Here are some of the factors that may lead to marital indifference!

Reasons Of Marital Indifference

Attitude Problem - Some people simply do not care about others. They remain in their personal world and think about their partners only when the absolute necessity arises. Being uncaring and unfeeling can be an attitude problem which can lead to a severe case of indifference. Talking it out between otherwise compatible partners is the best way to bring it out in the open.

Being Self-Centered - Being self-centered is another major cause of marital indifference. If you are too busy with yourself, then there will be little time to consider your partner's well-being. No wonder he/she will feel left out and largely ignored. This leads to resentment, affairs, anger, stress, tension, fights, confrontations, and depression.

Busy with Work - If you are inordinately busy with your job and unable to give time at home, your spouse is bound to feel neglected after some time. He/she will think that you simply do not care enough and that is why you spend so much time at your office or doing your business. If your busy schedule is the factor behind marital indifference, then reducing the workload is the ideal solution.

Different Pastimes - If your wife loves to socialize and you love nothing better than sitting home and watching sports during leisure, this may lead to problems later. When you start leaving her to spend time outside, she will feel that you are being indifferent by making her an object of ridicule among her friends and common acquaintances. You on the other hand, may feel left alone by her for long periods. It is necessary to take each others interests into account and spend time together, which you both can enjoy.

Not Caring Enough - If you do not care enough about the well-being or even the whereabouts of your partner this is surely an indication of marital indifference. Regular communications and keeping up with schedules of each other throughout the day is what happy couples do.

You Stop Listening - Another factor leading to marital indifference is that one fine day, you simply stop listening to what your partner has to say. When you are not interested to talk anymore, it is time to do some serious introspection into the marriage and determine what is going wrong.

These are some of the factors which cause marital indifference.
