Does teenage romance last? This is a very common question everyone is looking to be answered. Romance out of love last longer than romance out of lust. Many teenagers tend to fall in love out of competition rather than genuine intentions. Every teenager wants to romance, so no matter what, they just end up with a girl regardless of being in love or not. So it is a really tough thing to say if the teenage romance lasts or not.

If you look around yourself, there are not many teenagers who have been with the same girl/guy for a long time. Often they get bored of the relationship as they do not provide enough time and space to each other. So they end breaking up. That's not the end of the teenage romance story. Sooner or later they find another companion to romance. So I would say that teenage romance doesn't last longer.

Here are few reasons why teenage romance doesn't last longer

Education: Education is one of the reasons why teenage romance doesn't last longer. It is very obvious that a wise man would pick his education over his love interest. You fall in love out of attraction but in reality things do not work, you do not get a job without a proper qualification.

Career: Career comes after education. In order to live a happy life you got to be working. You just can't be romancing you partner the whole day which doesn't give you a penny to lead life. In this money driven world you need money for all the things. So you chose money over your teenage romance.

Conflict: When there is conflict in your ideas and attitude, you tend to end up the relationship. You might not understand each other which leads to a break up resulting in an end to teenage romance.

Parents' influence: Some teenagers would be very affectionate and loving towards their parents and there is no harm in this. But this might not be an encouraging factor for teenage romance. The teenager might come under the influence of their parents and end up the relationship with their partners.

Differences of opinion: Any teenager for that matter loves to stand on his opinions and thoughts. They would never like to abide by others choices especially of their partners. And here comes the fights and arguments forcing them to end up resulting in an unsuccessful teenage romance.

Being bored: Most of the teenage love ends with the silly reason of getting bored after some point of time. They would never be interested to take this to a next level of long term relationship. Boredom is never a part of love; if you were bored then you were never in love.

Influence by drugs: Teenage is the age where people get influenced by and addicted to drugs. In the name of late night party and fun, many teenagers get prone to drugs and end up losing their love, education, career and family.
