7 Things Pregnant Women Don't Like To Hear

Here are certain things during pregnancy that should never be said out loud.
Never Say These 7 Things During Pregnancy:
1. How is it possible? We hadn't planned this. Well, if its happened and she hasn't gone for a termination then obviously it was 'planned'. If you haven't planned it then she has. Even if it wasn't planned why are you asking her how it happened? Do you still believe in divine conception?
2. I am financially hard pressed. It is a beginning of doom if you say this to your pregnant wife. Please understand that she is immobile and may be unable to work due to her condition. If you discuss your financial problems with her she will feel you are not responsible enough for the baby.
3. Will you go back to work after the delivery? Again her fragile emotions during pregnancy will make her feel that you are trying to stop her from working to take away her financial independence. The baby was your ploy to keep her at home.
4. When will you go back to work after the baby? Things during pregnancy are very ambiguous. You cannot push it this way or that. Do not try to hasten her into a decision about returning to work because if you do then she will get the message that you want her to share your financial liability for the baby.
5. We have a financial burden coming up. Never use the word 'burden' in context to the baby. She will simply lose it. It is typical of men to use such loose words even if they do not mean anything. But you have to understand her emotions during pregnancy.
6. How will you lose all this weight? That is a recipe for disaster. She is helpless and uncomfortable about putting on weight. If you stretch things further by expressing a doubt about her weight she will feel cheated. She will feel you don't find her attractive anymore.
7. Call me if there is an emergency. Why can't she call you otherwise? You have to remember that keeping an emergency aside she needs you to be there through her emotional highs and lows. What if she is suddenly panic stricken or just plain depressed.
Her emotional health is a part of her prenatal care, so never say these things during pregnancy to your wife.
