1.One of the most important tips of planning pregnancy is to have the sexual intercourse during the women's fertile phase. The women's fertile phase is the five days before the ovulation day and on the day of ovulation. Ovulation happen 14 days prior to menstruation, when the egg is released from one of the ovaries. This is the time suitable for the sexual intercourse. Anytime before or after this period may not get you pregnant.
2.The next important tip on planning pregnancy is to eat food which increases chances of pregnancy. Some food which enhances female fertility are nuts, olive oil and avacado. Some food to increase sperm count include seafood, leafy green vegetables, oatmeal, sweet potatoes etc. Eating the right food affects the egg, menstrual cycle and ovulation.
3.One of the most important thing to avoid is smoking. Doctors have claimed that smoking hampers the blood vessels which also include the one contected to the ovaries. Thus, it's best to give up smoking when planning to conceive. Caffine consumption too should be avoided, as it too tenses the nervous system.
