Vidya Balan is one of the leading actresses of Bollywood. While we admire the gorgeous Indian ebauty for her elegance and beauty sometimes, we can hardly ignore Vidya Balan's fashion disasters! I mean she makes too many blunders to ignore. Vidya Balan wears sarees for of the most occasions. We all agree that Vidya Balan's taste for sarees is reasonably good.

But sometimes, Vidya Balan's commits fashion mistakes even while wearing sarees. She did wear some seriously forgettable sarees that no one would like to see again. When it comes to Western clothing, Vidya Balan's style is extremely bizarre. Sometimes, it is actually very hard to describe the outfit she is wearing. We have never seen Vidya Balan look smart in casual t-shirts and tees. Needless to say that Vidya Balan's fashion disasters get more severe with western outfits.

But the worst is yet to come. Vidya Balan was a jury member of Cannes Film Festival 2013. Vidya Balan's fashion disasters at Cannes 2013 were really embarrassing. Vidya Balan's style was supposed to be very ethnic, but she wore one disastrous outfit after another.

Here are some of the worst fashion mistakes that Vidya Balan has made.

Retro Calling

Going retro is seriously not your style Vidya. Those white polka dots on pink may have looked cute on a petite figure. But on you, they look rather garish.

Baggy Salwar Kameez

We understand that Vidya needs to cover up for a heavy body, but this bagging salwar kameez was worn for the last time by Madhubala. And those pair of shoes were discarded by someone's granny!

Starry Eyes

While sequins do add some glam to your saree, if the entire saree is stuffed with sequins, it looks too loud. Vidya looks like a walking disco light in this saree.

Beige Is Bad

First of all, light colours are not too good for hiding a fat body. On top of that, this beige is too dull. And those heavy legs are not really your best assets Vidya.

Mehendi Saree

For her own Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony, Vidya choose the worst possible saree. This yellow saree with dotted pattern is too drab for a bride. And what is with the funny floral jewellery?

Cannes Calling

Cannes 2013 has recorded the worst of Vidya Balan's fashion disasters. This lehenga choli by Sabyasachi accentuates Vidya's short stature and makes her look portly. We haven't seen such a terrible colour combination yet.

Beaded Necklaces

We admit that beaded necklace do look good sometimes but you have to team them up properly. Vidya wore grey beads with a white and gold saree! Why on earth?

Full Sleeved Blouses

Full sleeved blouses look better on larger women. But Vidya is short and not very skinny. Now the full sleeved blouses that she insisted on wearing at Cannes 2013 were very bad.

Anarkali Gown

If Vidya had to wear an anarkali gown, then at least she could have chosen a brighter colour combination. Dirty yellow and black are the worst possible shades to wear on the red carpet.

Too Many Colours

While Vidya was lacking colours at Cannes, usually she is way too colourful. This saree is a disaster of too many colours and all of them her mismatched.

Wine Coloured Disaster

We are unable to name this dress that Vidya Balan wore because we are still trying to figure out what to call it. But the permed hair is only adding insult.

Jeans and Kurta

Only Vidya Balan can have a fashion disaster even while wearing jeans and kurta. The silk kurta may have looked nice if she wore it with leggings instead of jeans.
