Does Caffeine Affect Girls During Puberty?
Caffeine is not healthy for anybody, but all know it yet the consumption of caffeine is not much restricted. Coffee is the main source of caffeine especially for the young boys and girls who love having coffee every now and then. Once, kids start hitting puberty, they react differently to caffeine. Too much of caffeine can cause problems to their growth and internal organ functioning as well. When it comes to girl during puberty, it is a myth that caffeine is good for health.
HEALTH CARE TIPS ON REACHING PUBERTY
Girls during puberty develop their feminine parts of the body and the internal reproduction organs. Caffeine has a tendency to hamper the growth and thus the growth is not normal. Caffeine is good for health only if consumed in proper quantities. In this article we shall see the ill effects of caffeine on girl during puberty. These ill effects happen only in cases of extreme caffeine consumption especially during the adolescent ages.

1. Cardio vascular ailments - In a study conducted by a well known university, girl during puberty if consume a large amount of caffeine tend to have cardio vascular problems at the higher sages of life. They tend to develop heart related ailments which is not good for health. The cold drinks were also considered as a major reason for the caffeine consumption apart from coffee. At puberty girls should avoid having cold drinks as it may cause heart related ailments at a very early stage of life.
2. Menstrual cycles - Menstrual cycles can get hampered or under developed due to large consumption of caffeine. The caffeine can cause irregular periods, increase of blood pressure during the follicular phase and pains during menstrual cycles. One must avoid having more caffeine during pubertal stage as it is one of the most important stages of life which certainly should not be messed up with. Menstrual cycles begin during puberty stage and for girls during puberty caffeine can make the cycle go extremely wrong.
3. Weight - Girls during puberty have a tendency to increase weight. This can be increased with caffeine consumption. During puberty, body tends to increase more weight and the caffeine consumption leads to increase of bad fats or unhealthy weight. One cannot say that caffeine is good for health in any which ways especially for girls during puberty. The weight which they tend to gain at this time can take a lot of time to decrease.
4. Hormonal imbalances - Pubertal stages are any ways a time when the hormonal imbalances are at a peak. One should be careful with the hormonal changes during puberty as it can actually aid to further imbalances. The intake of caffeine can result in changes in the hormonal secretion patterns as there is a notable change in the heartbeat pattern, blood pressure of the body and so on when caffeine gets into the body system. Girls during pregnancy should avoid caffeine.
5. Girls beat boys - Though caffeine is good for health for nobody, it does less damage to girls during puberty as compared to boys of the same age. This gives no reason for girls to have a lot of carbonated drinks, but is a relief of one sort
