Running Mistakes To Avoid
Running is one of the most affordable and best fitness exercises one can think of. With a pair of comfortable running shoes and flexible clothes and you are good to go. Though it is as simple as that, there are risks involved in running that when neglected results in serious physical injuries to you. Without proper care one can end up damaging their joints and bones on the long run.
Precautions have to be taken in wearing the right shoes for regular running. Trying to double up with your work shoes or a regular sports shoes meant for something else results in lot of strain to ankle and other joints. While starting your running routine for the first time, you have to be careful not to overdo it or run too much too soon to exhaust yourself and damage those yet-to-be flexed calf muscles. Hence it is important you do your research along with consultation before starting regular running sessions.

You should also consult or do some research on running postures and other basic techniques if you are serious about regular running. Even your strides need to be concentrated on while you are starting to run to determine what kind of strides are comfortable and suited for your body type. If you are a beginner, you must take care to do some warm-up and make sure the stiffness in your body is released and your muscles are flexible before starting to run long distances.
1.Most common mistake most beginners make is run too much too soon. It is a rookie mistake one has to avoid to be a good runner on the long run. As a beginner your body and muscles would be stiff due to lack of physical fitness. You must do some stretches and flexing to release that stiffness in your body before starting regular running.
2.Other major mistake people make after starting to run is not eating enough. Once you start your regular running you must back it up with balanced nutritious diet that is rich in protein and carbohydrates. These are fuels your body need to burn in order to provide energy for your body to run.
3.A rookie mistake most beginners as well as regular runners make is neglecting their shoes. Especially beginners tend to wear any available shoes lying around to start with. Without proper running shoes, you are susceptible to a lot of physical injuries.
4.Other common mistake people make is with their dress. Even though running is very basic, regular running requires you to wear proper fitting dress that is not too tight or too loose to hinder your run. You must choose dress that is meant for running and comfortable at the same time.
5.For a long and healthy running routine, you must study to know what kind of running posture is required to be maintained in order to reduce stress to your body. Your must be relaxed and upright with your whole body aligned.
6.In order to run smoothly with little strain and stress to the body, you must not thump the ground hard. It is a common mistake most runners make resulting in joints and bone injuries. One must glide across the ground to reduce strain to your body and stress to your joints.
7.Even after a wile of regular running, you must never run too fast on regular basis. It is very important you pace your runs on an even and comfortable tone to reduce excessive stress and exhaustion. Running too fast results in body aches and draining of energy too soon making you fatigued through the day.
