Deepika Padukone had almost disappeared from the fashion circuit as she was busy with shooting schedules. There were no awards or ceremonies this season so we had almost forgotten how gorgeous this leggy actress looks. But after a long wait, we finally spotted Deepika in a printed mini dress at the song launch of 'Finding Fanny'. She looked alright but we dare say that the look was a wee bit too casual for the occasion.

Deepika Padukone was in a Forever 21 mini dress. She tried to be in character by wearing this noodle strap short dress with flat tan sandals and no statement jewellery. She just wore two slim chains around her neck.

We have seen Deepika Padukone in mini dresses that were meant to impress. Thus, we know that she can look ravishing even in the simplest of dresses. However, she looked deliberately dressed down on this occasion.

It was not so much about seeing Deepika Padukone in a simple mini dress that struck us as odd. But her entire look was dishevelled. She pulled her hair back into a simple ponytail but strands of her hair stuck out making her look windswept. Even her makeup was too basic and she look peaked due to it. Deepika Padukone at the 'Finding Fanny' event left us with a feeling of too late too little.

Let's hope she boosts up the glamour quotient in the next few events that will be coming up shortly.

Deepika had pulled her hair back into a pony but this was not done very professionally. Strands of her hair struck out making her look like she had been through a storm.

Double Chains

Deepika Padukone wore two slim chains in her neck. This dual chains looked chic but did not add any glamour to this casual look.

Coral Nails

To match her multi-coloured dress, Deepika painted her talons coral red.

Oops Moment

Deepika was doing a few dance moves on the stage with co-actor Arjun Kapoor. But looks like she shook her leg too much. Her dress rose a bit too much for comfort.

Makeup

Deepika was wearing pink tinted lip gloss and some dusky black eye liner. This was hardly the right kind of makeup for a movie launch event.
