Dangers Of Over Scrubbing
Exfoliation is good for your skin. You can clear the dead skin cells which makes your skin look pale. But over scrubbing your face is bad for your skin. How much is too much?
Once a week is enough, twice a week can be okay but scrubbing face everyday could be the worst thing you can do to your skin.
If you don't scrub your skin, your complexion might become duller. Especially, people with oily skin should exfoliate every week in order to avoid clogged pores. The process of exfoliation can help your skin regenerate new cells and this can make your skin brighter.
Why Most Of The Men Have Dull Skin
So, is scrubbing your face everyday bad? Yes, both chemical exfoliation and physical exfoliation can irritate you if you over do it. If you wish to exfoliate more than twice a week, use a soft cloth and gently scrub your skin carefully but never over scrub your skin. Here are some dangers of over scrubbing.

Excessive Dryness
If you over exfoliate, your skin may lose its natural oils and may turn very dry and vulnerable.

Irritation
In order to give you a signal that over scrubbing isn't healthy, your skin might show irritation. So, if you are suffering irritation, it just means that you have crossed the limits of scrubbing.

Redness
When your skin loses a protective layer, it gets irritated and this may cause redness and mild pain. Stop using exfoliants if this reaction occurs.

Sensitivity
Your skin may turn sensitive when it is over scrubbed beyond limits. It is better to stop using chemical exfoliants if you have sensitive skin.

Tightness
When your skin appears too tight and lifeless, then it is one of the signs that you are over scrubbing it.

Flaking Skin
Flaky skin shouldn't be taken easily. It might mean that your skin has lost its moisture due to over scrubbing.

Burning Sensation
If you experience burning sensation, it is highly advisable to stop your scrubbing routine and consult a dermatologist.
