Different Ways To Make Kajal At Home
Now, you can prepare kajal at home with a few easy-to-find ingredients that would be 100% safe and natural! Read this article to know more.
Kajal has been one among an essential beauty product that every woman uses. It helps to pop up your eye instantly and also makes your eye look beautiful and noticeable.
Although there are a large number of Kajals available in the market, most of us prefer to make them at home. During earlier days, Kajal was made at home, as they were not available in the market easily.
The cooling properties of homemade Kajal can help to soothe the eyes and also strengthen eyesight. Homemade Kajals are also known as organic Kajals, as there are no chemicals used in the making of this.
It helps to remove the impurities from the eye as well and also keeps the eye cool for a long period of time. So, if you want to make Kajal at home, here are some easy recipes you can try by using different ingredients.

Method One (Using Almond)
Take one mud lamp and keep it on the floor. Make sure you prevent using ghee in the diya (mud lamp) and prefer using oil.
Now place the plate on the diya and make sure it does not extinguish out the flame. Now place some almond (start by 1-2 at a time) on the plate and allow the almond to burn completely. Make sure the diya's flame reaches the almond and burns it completely.
Now discard the almond after 3-4 minutes after the almond gets burned completely. Repeat the step with another almond. Then, repeat the process until all the almonds are burned completely.
Once all the almonds are burned, scrap off the soot with the knife and collect it in a box to have your own homemade kajal.

Method Two (Using Camphor)
Take 2-3 palettes of camphor and keep it in the center of the plate. Now place the bowl on both the sides.
Then, light the camphor with the help of a match stick and let it burn completely. Once the soot is collected on the plate, try to scrape off with a knife and collect it in a box.
Using a camphor-made kajal can help to soothe the eyes and also help to remove the dirt particles from the eyes. Make sure you allow the camphor to burn completely. This is the best way to make kajal in just 10 minutes.

Method Three (Using Castor Oil)
Take a lamp and fill it with castor oil. Now dip the cotton wick and burn the flame. Keep the plate on the flame and keep a few bowls alongside for support.
Allow the lamp to burn the plate, so that the soot gets collected on the plate. This method required a lot of time and hence it is generally advised to do this at night. It may particularly take up to 10-14 hours for the soot to get collected.
Once the soot is collected, you can scrape off the soot and collect it in a box. Add a few drops of almond oil from the top and allow the soot to dry naturally.

Method Four (Using Aloe Vera Gel)
Take a lamp and fill it with castor oil. Now, spread some aloe vera on the plate and keep it in such a way that the flame burns the aloe vera smeared area.
Wait until the aloe vera gel burns completely. Once the gel gets burnt completely, scrape it off using a knife and collect it in a bowl.
This process takes 5-8 hours and hence it would be good if you do it at night or in the noon. Using aloe vera-based gel helps to soothe the eyes and also to keep the dirt out.
