Healthy hair is the result of care. Carelessness would lead to hair breakage. Both brushing your hair and massaging your scalp are very important to maintain healthy hair. Of course, other factors like dirt and using the right beauty products do play a role.
12 Ways To Brush Your Hair Like A Pro
Proper hair brushing can be a cleansing action too. If done properly, this step would cleanse your scalp and hair of chemical and dirt build-up and, other waste particles.
It also stimulates the blood circulation and oil glands. Brush your hair only when it is dry. Brush slowly and patiently. Sometimes, the objective of brushing is neither de-tangling nor styling. It is just done to stimulate the circulation.

First De-tangle It
Your hair hates rough handling. So, lubricate it first. Apply a serum to your hair to make your hair soft. Then you can start the de-tangling process using a comb or or your fingers.

Use Fingers Instead of A Comb
A comb can be too violent with your hair. If you wish to minimise hair damage, use your fingers to de-tangle rather than using a comb.

Dry Your Hair Properly
Is it bad to brush wet hair? Of course, yes. It is better to let your hair dry for a few minutes before you start combing it. Wet hair hates to be touched.

How To Comb
Choose a comb whose teeth are spaced far apart. Also, carefully comb from top to the bottom. Use shorter strokes instead of trying to finish the process in one big single stroke. Do this till the comb smoothly runs through your hair.

Sleeping With Wet Hair
Never go to bed when your hair is wet. As your hair is delicate when its wet, it becomes vulnerable to damage. In fact, that is why brushing wet hair is also considered as a 'hair sin'.

Towel Drying
The most common way to dry your hair is by using a towel. But if you are a bit careless, this process can cause frizzes and also breakage. If you still wish to use a towel, use a dry one to absorb the wetness from the hair. Don't rub your hair with it.

Pulls
Your hair vehemently hates being pulled. Never try to pull your hair tightly during the brushing process and don't prefer tight pony tails as they might cause damage.
