Detangling Hair Made Easy!
Sometimes, detangling your hair requires more patience than you can afford. Especially, if your hair is curly or kinky, it takes a lot of effort to carefully detangle it. Dryness and brittleness- these are the main reasons why hair gets tangled.
Best Hair Care Tips After Washing
You cannot afford to be careless while detangling as it may damage your hair. You can use your hands or you can do it with the help of a comb, but if you are not patient enough, it may lead to hair breakage.
Usage of hair dyes, gels, sprays and some methods of hair processing can gradually damage your hair and leave it tangled. When your hair is dry, untangling becomes tougher.
Though knots in hair are inevitable, there are ways to prevent their occurrence. Trim the edges of your hair regularly. This can help prevent the formation of knots.
Also, when you shampoo your hair, do it carefully and mindfully. Some of us keep scrubbing the scalp and the hair carelessly as we tend to rush in the shower. Being careless during that time can tangle your hair too.
10 Tips To Untangle Knots In Your Hair
Ensure that you brush your hair with a soft brush before bath. You can also use your fingers to detangle your hair if your hair is excessively dry. If you use a comb, you may lose hair.
Now, let us discuss about several methods that help you in the process.

Use Olive Oil
Some knots in your hair don't easily give up. They need a different treatment. Take a few drops of lukewarm olive oil and apply it around the knots. Use your fingers to release the knots.

Conditioner
How to detangle curly hair. Apply conditioner to your hair and leave it on for a few minutes. Ensure that all the areas of your hair are covered. Don't apply pressure on tangles when you apply conditioner in these areas.

Comb
Sometimes, nothing else works except a comb. Use it carefully and patiently to detangle your knots.

Sprays
Though there is no guarantee that sprays can help detangle, you can always give it a try. Sometimes, they do work and make your job of releasing the knots easy.

When You Are Busy
Never do it when you are busy as you may do a bad job and lose your hair. Use a leave-in conditioner on your hair while rushing to your office.

Dry
What if your hair is too dry? Well, spray some water in that area and lubricate it a bit before you use a comb or your hands.

Moisturise Well
As dryness may cause brittleness and tangles, moisturise your hair well; this will help you release the tangles faster.

Leisure Time
On a Sunday, when you have enough time to watch TV, spend it on detangling your hair with bare hands and a brush.
