There are times when you don't pay attention to grooming which can literally put you in an awkward position. Focusing on your outward appearance may ideally be important but one has to also keep good hygiene. It may sound like a frivolous matter but imagine when you have excessive nose hair, it can make you lose your confidence and spoil your look.

There is a reason why nose hair exists; it protects from dust, pollutant and airborne bacteria from entering the lungs. However one has to remove nose hair if it is long and protruding. Trimming for example is one of the tips to remove nose hair.

Moist Cotton Swab
After showering or washing the face, insert some clean cloth into the nose after moistening it with warm water. Later apply pressure on the wash cloth and the unwanted hair by placing index finger from outside. Make sure to rub the wash cloth back and forth over the excess nose hair. Take away the wash cloth and clean the nasal passage to remove the bacteria from inside then slowly use moist cotton swab to remove the nose hair.

Tweezers
Find a location where there is enough light to trim the nose hair. Interestingly the cheapest tip to yank those pesky excess nose hair is to use a tweezers. Remember that pulling out more hair can lead to bacterial infection. Take a shower to soften the hair follicles so that it is easy to pull unwanted hair.

Scissors
You can trim nose hairs using a pair of grooming scissors that has round tips. Make sure the scissors is not old and rusted. Gently remove the nose hair that is protruding from one nostril before moving to the other.

Nose Hair trimmer
Purchase an electronic trimmer that is available in the market. Do plenty of research before purchasing the equipment to remove nose hair. Read the manual and follow the instructions to avoid any kind of mishap. Begin to trim the lower hair that is noticeable from below the nose line. Trimmers operate under dual rotary blades and the end result you get is a clean and smooth trim.

Pluck nose hairs
Some women choose to pluck nose hairs using a lot of pressure. Use water to clean the nose and then pull the long hair that are sticking out from the nose line. Never forcefully yank the hair follicles as this can damage the nasal tissue.

Shaving or Waxing
Waxing can be a bad option to deracinate nasal hair. Moreover it is advisable not to shave the nose hair.
