During the nine days of Navratri, when Goddess Durga is worshipped, the flowers that are dear to the Goddess are offered to her. But, there are some flowers like Ketaki, Bel, Harsingar, Dhatura, Katsariya, Ketaki, Madar, Nagchampa, and Brihati flowers that should not be offered to her as they have a negative impact.

Apart from this, dried flowers or buds are not offered to the Goddess. However, Champa or lotus can be offered. Even Durva (grass) is not offered to her.
