Navratri 2023: Offering These Flowers To Maa Durga Will Make Her Extremely Angry
Navratri 2023: Flowers are in general considered auspicious for Gods and Goddess. However, there are some rules that one needs to follow before offering it to the deities. While some are considered their favorites, others completely despise them. Navratri is almost here and this year it will begin on 15 October and it will end on 24 October 2023. Goddess Durga is worshipped during these nine days in nine different forms.
According to Vastu Sastra, when it comes to flowers, colors, or even fragrances, there are some special methods that are followed in order to keep the energy of the house clean. During Navratri, there is a distinct ritual for every form of Goddess Durga is associated with special colors and flowers. Know which flower will make Goddess Durga and the ones that will make her furious.

nine
days
of
Navratri,
when
Goddess
Durga
is
worshipped,
the
flowers
that
are
dear
to
the
Goddess
are
offered
to
her.
But,
there
are
some
flowers
like
Ketaki,
Bel,
Harsingar,
Dhatura,
Katsariya,
Ketaki,
Madar,
Nagchampa,
and
Brihati
flowers
that
should
not
be
offered
to
her
as
they
have
a
negative
impact.
Apart from this, dried flowers or buds are not offered to the Goddess. However, Champa or lotus can be offered. Even Durva (grass) is not offered to her.
