Char Dham Yatra 2023: Information On Helicopter services For The Yatris
Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun is the point where the Helicopter services start registering yatris for char dham yatra. Services to all the four Char Dham temples begins at 6.30 am. As per the five nights and 6 days luxury Heli Char Dham package plan starts from Dehradun.. The yatra package starts with Dehradun, takes you through all the char dhams of Uttarakhand and leaves you back to Dehradun.

The package includes certain privileges. They include VIP darshans and special Pujas on request, meals and luxury services, booking facilities, and informed representatives at every place. Helicopter, although exorbitantly priced, a per the requirements, it is the easiest, and comfortable way to reach the Char Dham safely without health upsets.

Char dham by helicopter will cost you around INR 1,85,000 per head for obtaining a complete darshan in all 4 Dhams. This includes price meals, local commuting, hotel reservations and sightseeing. Dehradun To Yamunotri
The government Helipad is located on the Sahastradhara Road in Dehradun where the journey starts and ends. You will be intimated of the schedule in advance. Pilots and staff explain to the passengers all about the trip, from the start to the finish. The first journey is towards Kharsali and after your arrival here, you can start for Yamunotri temple, by travelling for five more kilometers on a doli. You can return to Kharsali when completing your visit, and stay overnight at Kharsali.
Kharsali To Gangotri
Halt at kharsali for some invigorating breakfast and then proceed to Harsil. You have to cover a distance of 25 km by road here in order to reach Gangotri. This journey actually can be covered by engaging a taxi service. After you take a darshan of Goddess Ganga and complete the worship, you can get back to Harsil by the cab. Take some time out to have a detailed look at Harsil and then stay back overnight here.
Gangotri To Kedarnath
After the mornings breakfast, the helicopter will take you to Phata Helipad where a different helicopter is ready to take you to Kedarnath. Temple is just 30 minutes of distance away from the helipad and by walk, takes about 15 minutes to reach. Offer your puja to God here, pray to him for fulfilling your wishes, and then get ready to fly to GuptKashi to retire for the night.
Guptkashi To Badrinath
After breakfast at Guptkashi, you will be flown to Badrinath. You have two choices here one of which is to go to your lodging in hotel, freshen up a bit and then visit the temple or you can go directly to the temple to offer your prayers. During the evening, you can take a detailed view of the town of Badrinath and retire for the night at your hotel.
Badrinath To Dehradun
Get up in the wee hours, and attend the Maha Abhishek of Lord Badrinath at 4 am in the morning. Return to your hotel, savour your hot steaming breakfast served on the platter. Thank Badrinath for small mercies and for granting you the safest journey and feel blessed as you dash back to Dehradun.
