It is not like married women do not get into passionate extramarital affairs. However, it seems like married men are the ones who are infamous for dumping their good old wives.

Are men more into cheating after they get married or is just that they don't even consider it as 'cheating' before they are bound in a holy matrimony? Let us try and analyse what makes married men cheat so incessantly on their wives.

Caught In A Boring Marriage: Most extramarital affairs are born from boring marriages. Most of the times, men are more adventurous than women. As a result, they decide to get some cheap thrills outside of their marriage.

Women Age Faster: If a married couple are roughly the same age, the wife ages much faster than the husband. This creates a sense of pride or superiority complex in the man. Married men feel that they look and feel much younger than their spouse and that justifies their cheating in some weird way.

Just For Fun: This is probably the most accurate statement of them all; men cheat just for fun. They have no intention of jeopardising the stability of their marriage but the risk factor thrills them. Men cheat because its exciting and they believe they won't get caught.

Wives Are Taken For Granted: Most men believe that their wives will not leave them abruptly even if they cheat. Married women often think about their kids and future before they walk out on their cheating husbands. So, men take it for granted that they will be forgiven for their straying behaviour.
