When the economic sorrows hit the world all over men are the fatal victims of recession than their female counterparts. It seems that they are not well equipped to fight the redundancy blues.

It is found that men are more anxious and stressed about losing their jobs than the women employees. When the job insecurity takes a toll on the mental health of both men and women, the gender that seek psychological help belongs to the male set.

There are some macho men who put a brave face in times of uncertainty like this. However they are also reported to be depressed and anxious than women on these days. This is also due to a macho issue about men being the breadwinner!
