Nutrients That Decide A Kid's Immunity!
The best way to boost the health of your kid is by boosting his immunity. Get the necessary nutrients that boost immunity.
In the growing age, kids need several nutrients that boost immunity. If your kid is suffering from itchy skin, cough, runny nose or stomach pain, it is time you need to focus on strengthening your kid's immunity.

A weak immune system not only disturbs your child's academic life, but it also makes your kid weak and vulnerable.

Current surveys indicate that almost 81% of the kids of growing age are not getting enough of iron, vitamin A and C. Deficiencies kill the immunity and make the kid weak. Even seasonal changes could make your kid fall ill if immunity levels dip.

Vitamin A
The immune system requires vitamin A for maintenance of innate healing abilities. Lack of it could weaken the first layer of defense in your kids.
That is when infections start showing up in children. Ensure that your child gets enough of foods rich in vitamin A.

Vitamin B
The white blood cells which protect the body require vitamin B. Especially, vitamin B12, B9 and B6 play a role in sustaining the lymphocytes. These vitamins make the body resilient and prevent recurring infections in children.

Iron
The red blood cells need iron. Also, iron is required by neutrophils to eliminate bacteria. Lack of enough iron may reduce the number of T cells. Basically, iron deficiency could drastically affect the immunity.

Zinc
Zinc also helps in the maintenance of healthy immune cells (neutrophils and killer cells). Lack of zinc could deplete the production of antibodies. Immunity dips due to zinc deficiency.

Vitamin E
This vitamin is an antioxidant which helps your kid's body in combating infections. Almonds, sunflower seeds and peanuts contain this nutrient.
