University Notes: Entering A New World
I entered into the most prestigious Indian University with a middle rank in the required entrance examination. My heart was jumping with excitement while finishing all the formalities at the concerned academic departments. Very soon, it was time for me to get separated from my dear parents for the first time as they left me to venture the new academic world myself.
I am person who cherish my private moments to the full extent. To my utter disappointment, the first change came in my life as I had to share my hostel room with four newly met friends. Being ushered from a nuclear family, I started to learn the first lessons of tolerance in the four walls of my hostel room.
Our academics was to commence only one week later than the earlier announced date. I started to acquaint with the new friends from all over India. Majority of us were having the hostel life for the first time and found difficulty to adjust with the new surroundings. We soon realized that our previous ideas about the hostel life, derived from the popular campus movies, have nothing to do with the real life.
