Attukal Temple
This Attukal Bhagavathy Temple is located in Kerala. During the temple's Pongala festival, millions of women participate. This festival is regarded as the largest gathering of women for any religious activity and it has also made it to the Guinness Book of World Records. The festival lasts for 10 long days and during this time, men are not allowed in the temple.

Chakkulathukavu Temple
This is another temple from Kerala that is dedicated to the Goddess Bhagavathi. An annual ritual or Puja which is also called ‘Naari Puja' falls on the first Friday of December called Dhanu. On this day, the male priests are said to wash the feet of female devotees who have fasted for 10 long days and yet men are not allowed inside the temple.

Santoshi Maa Temple
A holy ‘Vrat' is observed by women or unmarried girls in this temple. It is prohibited to eat sour fruits or pickles during the ‘Vrat'. Though men are allowed to enter the Santoshi Maa temple for worshiping, they hardly follow the ritual of ‘Vrat' for Santoshi Maa.

Lord Brahma Temple
This temple is at Pushkar in Rajasthan; and it is considered to be one of the most prominent temples of Lord Brahma. The married men are not allowed to enter into the temple premises. During Kartik Poornima of the Hindu lunar month, a religious festival is held in Lord Brahma's honour.

Bhagati Maa Temple
This temple is in Kanya Kumari, Kerala. It is said that Goddess Parvati tried very hard and followed Tapasya for getting Lord Shiva to be her husband. Since then, in this temple, only women are allowed to enter, as men are prohibited from entering here.

The Mata Temple
This is a temple that exists in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. During a special period, the women devotees only are allowed to enter the temple. Even the Pujari of the temple is not allowed to enter the premises during this time.
