Charlie Hunnam To Quit Grey's Role?
After the star cast of Fifty Shades of Grey had been announced, the lead actor Charlie Hunnam has been in trouble. The actor who is playing the bondage authority Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey has gathered both hating and loving women in his list.
After the star cast of the much hyped and best selling erotic novel 50 Shades of Grey had been announced, the fans and readers were not quite impressed. They took it to the Twitter and other social media platforms to show their outrage and anger.
Recently, the buzz is that Charlie Hunnam is going to quit the role of Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey. The actor might have been affected by the huge criticism and negativity might make the Sons of Anarchy actor quit the Grey's role.

A social change petition was called for Matthew Bomer to replace Hunnam as Christian Grey had been started in September since the star cast was announced. Till now, more than 75,000 signatures have been posted where fans are asking to replace Charlie Hunnam as he is not meeting the expectations of the robust male protagonist, Christian Grey. The movie's producer Dana Brunetti and even EL James have been stern about their decision and think that Charlie is the best male protagonist and actor is fit for the role.
Producer Dana Brunetti had defended her choice before on Twitter. She tweeted, "There is a lot that goes into casting that isn't just looks. Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actors, etc. So if your favourite wasn't cast, then it is most likely due to something on that list. Keep that in mind while hating and keep perspective."
However, Charlie Hunnam has been inundated by lingerie at his doorstep every morning. Some die-hard women fan of Grey and Charlie are leaving their bra, underwear, stockings and knickers outside his doorstep!
Charlie Hunnam quitting Christian Grey's role is still a rumour and there is no official confirmation. As of now, Charlie will commence shooting for the much awaited film, 50 Shades of Grey from November 2013.
