Sources reveal, that the blonde singer, Mariah gave birth to a boy and girl who are now named Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon respectively.

Most parents of today, name their children after great people and this is exactly what Mariah Carey and husband, Nick Cannon did. The proud mother, Mariah Carey states that her daughter is named after her 'idol', Marilyn Monroe, who is said to be a great inspiration to her. Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey's baby boy, Moroccan Scott Cannon, is named after their initial apartment where the couple stayed before marriage and it is special to Mariah Carey, as it was that apartment where her hubby, Nick Cannon asked for her hand in marriage,in the year 2008.
