Deepika Padukone To Promote Bangalore Marathon
The actress said that she would run the ten kilometre marathon as long as her energy permits.
The Bollywood star said : "I have been practicing yoga for the past few years. I don't know how much that is going to help me. Maybe not in terms of endurance but definitely in terms of metal strength. In flexibility, I think I have a decent stamina. So, I will try and run as much as I can,"
The arrangement of the marathon is such that it has different categories with separate different distances allocated for them.
The categories are classified thus: World ten-kilometer elite for men and women, nation's challenge, senior citizen's run, wheel chair run, and open ten-kilometer run.
The Marathon involves a total prize money of 1,55,000 dollars to be won
