Believable reports state that The US President George W. Bush has expressed his wish to have Bulgarian PM as his son-in-law. He commented that The Bulgarian PM would be a perfect match for his daughter. A sourceless news regarding this was published Saturday by the Bulgarian newspaper 24 Hours Daily, which does not cite any sources.

US President had this proposal submitted to Sergey during a break at the NATO Summit in Bucharest. Sergey seems to be interested to be the son-in-law of Bush and asked Bush if they would have the opportunity to meet once again before the end of Bush's term in office in January 2009.

The US President asked Stanishev how he kept in shape, he reportedly also told the Bulgarian PM he seemed suitable to become his son-in-law. The interested PM asked Bush how old his daughter was and is happy to know that she is just 26.
