Tips To Clean Window Ventilation

Window ventilation are either at the top (almost near ceiling) or are built at the base of the wall. Cleaning the grills of ventilation is not easy as they are too narrow and away from reach. The dusters cannot slide the grills, the vents are often made of a fragile material like glass or cane so wiping away dust need to be carried out carefully.
Window Ventilation Cleaning Tips
1. Carefully unscrew the window ventilation panel and dust the mesh using a vaccum cleaner and waste cloth.
2. If your window ventilation is a sliding ventilation, then remove the slides carefully and wipe away with mild soap water. Sundry it and then install it back.
3. The edges of the ventilation ducts, the screws can be cleaned with ear buds. The frame of the ventilation can be dusted using a vaccum cleaner.
4. If the ventilation is connected to a duct, then using a vaccum cleaner and duct cleaner absorb all the dust and keep it open for an hour. Observe if the duct is damaged due rodents and replace it if necessary.
5. Attach the panel or sliding windows accordingly and move on to the cleaning of the surrounding walls.
6. Wipe away the mold and mildew stains with the help of chlorine bleach. If the paint is peeling out, find the reason for the damp surface and fix it immediately to avoid further damage.
