7 Things On Your Weekly Cleaning List!

Weekly Cleaning
Not every place in your your house can be cleaned everyday, neither is it necessary to do so. There are some things that stay put just by weekly cleaning. Your house cleaning checklist must save these tasks for the weekends when you have the time to do a more thorough job. This does not mean that you keep postponing all your daily chores for the weekend then slap your forehead on Saturday! We are merely suggesting that you plan your cleaning assignments in a more organised way.

Here are some housekeeping tips to help you out with a list of weekly cleaning jobs to do for the weekend.

7 Things On Your Weekly Cleaning List:

1. Kitchen Cabinets: All week long you are busy with work and you definitely do not have the time to clear out and clean the cabinets of your kitchen. Cockroaches and ants roam fearlessly in among your food containers if you leave your kitchen cabinets dirty. So every weekend, remove all the thing stored in your cabinets and wipe them clean.

2. Garbage Bins: You don't have to clean the community garbage bins but you owe that to your personal dustbins. The kitchen garbage is wet so it should be disposed daily but the bathroom dustbins (and others in your house) may be cleared weekly. Wash the dustbins with hot water and soap because it stores all your waste.

3. Ceilings: If your leave your ceiling fans out of your weekly cleaning plan then they will soon be sprouting cobwebs and filth. Use a tall broom to dust the fans and also clean the corners of the roof. You will be saving yourself from allergies.

4. Laundry: This is the most obvious thing on your house cleaning checklist for the week. Most working women do their laundry on weekends. You may need to run your washing machine twice but finish the laundry for the week during the weekend itself; never carry over to the next week.

5. Bathroom: Cleaning your bathroom thoroughly should be the next item on your house cleaning checklist for the week. Clean your toilet pot with phenyl or acid for sure. Scrub the bath tubs and the scratch out the water marks on the bathroom floors.

6. Front Yard: The entrance of your house is the first thing anybody will see before entering your perfectly done up home. If it has discarded plastic wrappers and dry leaves then people will consider you an incapable homemaker. Sweep all the dirt from your front yard. If you live in an apartment building then mop your corridor or lobby floor.

7. Bedspread: It is important to change bed linen every week without fail. Put the previous set in the laundry and spread out a fresh one. If you are doing Christmas cleaning then vacuum the mattress and wash the pillows too
