What Are The Symptoms Of Gluten Intolerance
People who have gluten intolerance suffer from a condition where when they are subjected to gluten, it activates an allergy wherein the body attacks itself, damaging and occasionally ruining the villi that line the small intestines.
Once believed to be a rare situation affecting only kids, it is currently known to be more common, affecting a large section of the the older generation as well. It is a genetic illness and people with a close family member with a wheat allergy are at higher risk of it. For many people the disease is latent until activated by a condition like pregnancy, childbirth, operation or extreme stress.

Signs of a wheat allergy are similar to those experienced with other food allergic reactions, but can differ widely between people. Digestive issues are common with coeliac disease, particularly in babies and kids. They can include abdomen pain and bloating, vomiting, constipation, chronic diarrhoea or pale, fatty, or foul smelling faeces.

Weight reduction is common in kids as a consequence of those signs. Gluten intolerance also can lead to defects in growth and development. Many symptoms might be attributed to other conditions. That is the reason it may not be diagnosed right away.

Symptoms might show up as bone and joint pain, arthritis, unexplained iron deficiency anaemia, fatigue, bone loss or osteoporosis, seizures, tingling or numbness, canker sores or herpetaformis dermatitis, an itchy skin rash. Women can also experience reproductive problems like missed menstrual periods, miscarriages or pregnancy issues.
Other symptoms might include frequent urination, vision disturbances or issues, slow healing time, weight reduction or gain, jaundice, joint stiffness, muscle weakness or fatigue, frustration or elevated incidence of infections.

Gluten intolerance might lead to much more serious issues. Since the body's reaction to a wheat allergy is to assault the villi of the small bowel, the body has a lower capacity to soak up nutrients from food. Liver diseases or cancers in the digestive tract might also result.
Gluten intolerance can make it difficult for one to carry out daily activities. Hence, the symptoms should be closely monitored and tests should be conducted to determine whether you have gluten intolerance or not.
