There are so many remedies for joint pain. As most of them are home remedies, you can try them out without spending lot of money. If the pain reaches a severe state, it is very important to meet the doctor.
Top 7 Reasons For Joint Pain During Pregnancy
Remember that serious conditions need proper diagnosis and treatment. Home remedies might not help you when the problems have already crossed a few stages. But if your joint pains are mild then you can try these remedies. But still, it is always recommended to consult the doctor first before you try any of the below home remedies for joint pain. It is important to make sure that the ingredients you use for home remedies do not interfere with your health conditions or medication.

Ginger
It is good to know what to take for joint pain. Ginger is rich in anti-inflammatory properties. To try ginger, prepare tea using ginger and consume it twice a day. Make sure you add a few drops of honey to the tea. Also, use a piece of ginger and boil it in water for at least 10 minutes.

Apple Cider Vinegar
This is also among the remedies for joint pain. Vinegar can help in getting rid of the toxins from the affected area. Also, it contains phosphorous, potassium, calcium and magnesium. To follow this remedy, mix a few drops of honey, 2-3 spoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water and consume it thrice a day before you eat food.

Heat And Cold
One of the best home remedies for joint pain is using hot and cold compress. Applying heat on the affected area helps in minimising pain. Also, the blood circulation gets better and this helps in relaxing the muscles. When you apply ice in the area, the inflammation can be controlled and ice will also numb the pain for some time. To try this remedy, place the hot bag in the area for a few minutes and quickly apply some ice cubes in the same area for a few minutes. Note: You must first consult the doctor before trying this method especially if there is swelling or redness in the affected areas.

Epsom Salt
If the joint pains are due to lack of enough magnesium in your body then you can try this remedy. When you go for a bath, mix a few cups of Epsom salt to warm water and soak your body for at least 25 minutes. Do it thrice a week.

Massage
One of the best remedies for joint pain is massage therapy. A good massage when properly done can enhance blood circulation. It also helps in reducing the inflammation to an extent. Massage if done regularly can minimise the stiffness in the joints and thereby reduce pain. When you opt for massage, use oils like garlic oil, castor oil, mustard oil or coconut oil.

Cayenne
Some sources say that Cayenne pepper is almost like a natural pain killer. To try it out, pour coconut oil in a cup (fill it half) and heat it. Add 2 spoons of pepper powder (cayenne). Make it a paste and rub it on the joints. After half an hour, you can wash it off. Do it couple of times every day for a few days. If you have cuts or injuries, never use pepper in those areas.

Stinging Nettle
This herb contains boron which is necessary to treat joint pains. Though there is not enough evidence to prove that this herb really works for joint pains, some people still use it. Soak some nettle leaves in hot water for 15 minutes. Now, filter and drink the water. Do this thrice every day for one week. Note: Consult the doctor before you try this remedy.

Fenugreek
We all know that fenugreek is packed with antioxidants. Its is also anti-inflamamtory. To try this remedy, consume a spoon of fenugreek powder. Drink a glass of warm water. Follow this routine for a few days during mornings.

Turmeric
Turmeric is one of the best home remedies for joint pain. It is a good anti-inflammatory agent. Mix a few drops of honey and a spoon of turmeric powder in a glass of milk and consume it. Do this for a few days until you see results. Note: It is better to consult the doctor before you follow this especially if you are undergoing any medication.

Garlic
This is one of the natural remedies for joint pain. If you are suffering from joint pains, garlic comes for rescue. Garlic contains selenium and sulfur apart from many other nutrients. Eat a raw garlic every morning and try this remedy for a few days.
