Prevent Constipation While Travelling: Ways
Our bodies are conditioned to the clock and operates accordingly. However, when you are travelling, you tend to suffer from the most common health problem, which is constipation. Most of the people are used to get bowel movements every morning at a particular time. But when you are travelling, even if you try hard to pass poop, it becomes very difficult as your bowel movements are no more regular.
Moreover, the diet, sleep timings etc also leads to constipation while travelling. So, basically, change in the lifestyle, schedule and diet leads to the improper bowel movements. By taking proper preventive measures, you can avoid constipation to a great extent.
For example, when you are travelling, you must drink lots of healthy fluids. A lot of people forget about fluid intake which in turn affects the bowel movements. So, drink as much water and healthy fluids as possible.
Apart from drinking healthy fluids, you must also focus on your diet. Eat fiber and water-rich foods as they are soluble and can also soften stool. Sometimes, in a long journey, a traveller drinks some alcohol or coffee so as to be active and awake. However, when you are travelling, you must restrict the intake of alcohol and caffeine as it leads to water retention in the body. If you often suffer from constipation while travelling, then try these simple ways to prevent it.
Ways To Prevent Constipation While Travelling:

Eat On Time
It is one of the most important diet tips to follow while travelling. Do not skip meals as it will disrupt the bowel movements. Eat your meal on time to stay in the schedule.

Healthy Foods
While travelling, most of the people do not focus on their diets. They binge on snacks and fluids which leads to digestive as well as bowel problems. So, eat fiber-rich snacks which do not lead to indigestion, gas or constipation.

Carry Water
Carry water along with you whenever you travel. It is one of the best ways to avoid constipation when you are travelling, and also stay hydrated. Moreover, drinking too much water will slowly make you get the movement.

Go Whenever Needed
Most of the times, a traveller controls the urge to go to the toilet to pass out stool due to many reasons. However, you must not control whenever you feel the movements. Allow enough time to have a full and relaxed movement.

Avoid Caffeine
Caffeine might be one of the most relaxing and refreshing beverage while travelling as it provides relief from tiredness. However, it leads to water retention in the body which in turn leads to constipation. So, avoid caffeine.

Castor Oil
For severe constipation, have some castor oil. As it smells and tastes bad, mix 1 teaspoon with orange juice and drink it at night.

Tender Coconut
