Medilinks: Committed To Preventing Defence Force Mental Health Challenges
Veterans Brodie Moore and Mick Hartnett are dedicated to saving lives by assembling a team of expert professionals at Medilinks, committed to making a real impact.
Over the years, the world has witnessed many tragic veteran suicides, a growing and deeply concerning issue. So many veterans and members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) have experienced mental health challenges but never received the right assistance in dealing with them. Veterans Brodie Moore and Mick Hartnett have witnessed the devastating effects of suicide after several ADF colleagues tragically lost their lives to suicide. This ignited the fire within them to build Medilinks Access to create a positive change and help save lives.

In a vital effort to prevent suicides and address veterans' mental health challenges, they founded Medilinks to help veterans combat trauma, transition back to civilian life, and overcome the stigma surrounding mental health. Medilinks, with its team of expert psychiatrists and psychologists, works tirelessly to provide specialised telehealth psychiatric assessments, ensuring veterans receive the compensation and treatment they need to make a potentially life-saving difference.
One of the key challenges that veterans face when seeking help is the long wait times to see a psychiatrist and get to its outcome. Medilinks, however, is committed to providing fast access to psychiatric services, making sure veterans don't have to wait for long to get their mental health on track. They also aim to reduce delays and provide immediate assistance.
As an Australian veteran-owned business, Medilinks brings an unparalleled understanding of the veteran experience. Veterans have joined forces to serve other veterans because they thrive on empathy and compassion and have a profound understanding of how traumatic a few experiences can be for veterans. Hence, Medilinks was formed with veterans like Brodie Moore and Mick Hartnett at the forefront as the CEO and COO, respectively.
The team at Medilinks (@medilinks_aus) is working tirelessly every single day to change the system and ensure that veterans no longer feel alone in their battle with mental health.
