Home Remedies For Toothache
Toothache is a common problem and the pain which happen is generally in the nerve connecting the teeth or gum diseases. Swelling of the gum or bacterial infection in the cavity are some of the other reasons for toothache. It can be severe enough to get you a migraine attack and ear pain. Though there are medicines, at the time of crisis you can also use home remedies for toothache for quick relief without side effects.
Home Remedies For Toothache -
1.Place a small piece of garlic clove on the teeth which is paining. This cures the pain within few minutes. Garlic has anti-bacterial properties, thus, it kills the bacteria's and cures the pain. Garlic can also cure swollen gums.
2.One of the oldest home remedies for toothache is the use of clove oil. This is proved to cure toothache almost immediately. In case of cavity, you can dab some cotton in clove oil and place it on the area. In case of swollen gum, just massage the area with clove oil.
3.Hing or Asafoetida are an excellent agent to cure dental pain. Just put little powder in the cavity and you will soon be relieved of the pain.
4.Crush some onion and place it on the tooth. Onion has like ginger has anti-bacterial properties and thus cure the pain and treats the cause.
5.Mix some crushed black pepper with salt and place it on the decay area. This home remedy for toothache and at the same time relief you of bleeding gum and bad breath.
6.Mustard oil is also one of the oldest home remedies of toothache. Put few drops of mustard oil on the affected area to get quick relief.
7.For temporary relief you can dab cotton in some alcohol and place it on the area. This will numb the area for some time.
Use these seven home remedies for toothache for quick relief but as it is said prevention is better than cure. To avoid toothache one needs to follow dental care. Brush you teeth twice a day and maintain calcium intake. Diet plays an important role in dental care.
