WIFW 2014: Unique Patterns Seen On The Ramp
The Wills India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2014 started with a bang and on the ramp we saw a lot of bright colours, different fabric and out of this world kind of patterns which took us off our seat. The Wills India Fashion Week 2014 on Day 1 showcased 7 renowned Indian designers who gave us a wide range of their collections.
One of the things which caught our attention is that in almost every collection, we saw one or two peculiar or unique patterns which were out of this world. Boldsky, has complied a few of the very best out of this world unique patterns which we saw on the ramp of Day 1 at Wills India Fashion Week 2014.
On day 1, the designers who showed us some strange patterns were - Raakesh Agarvwal whose collection was sassy and bold, Kiran Uttam Ghosh whose designs were antique and pastel, Vineet Bahl whose designs represented the passion of life, Rina Dhaka who blended in fashion and technology, Shantanu & Nikhil who brought in a conflict with the East meets West designs, Anupama Dayal who collection was inspired by Kamasutra and therefore called, 'Kama' and indeed the the man of the night, Tarun Tahiliani hwo collection was precious as gold.
Take a look at some of these unique, rather peculiar/unique patterns which were seen on the ramp by all seven designers of Day 1:

The Coin Choli Bride – Designer Anupama Dayal
This bridal outfit is inspired by the tribal look. The model is wearing silver jewellery and the outfit seems to be in cotton, bandini design.

Combination Of Two Fabrics – Designer Kiran Uttam Ghosh
The combination of fabrics was one of a kind. This gown was detailed with a floral lace hemline and bronze to add its beauty.

The Modern Sindoor – Designer Kiran Uttam Ghosh
This is one of the most peculiar style we saw of Day 1 at the Wills India Fashion Week 2014, he golden sindoor is a new trend for newly weds to follow.

Beaded Work – Designer Raakesh Agarvwal
Sheer golden thigh high slit gowns with deep cut backs and side boob views looked sexy on the ramp. It was one of the best peculiar designs we saw on the ramp at the Wills Fashion India Week 2014.

Feathery Coat – Designer Raakesh Agarvwal
Sheer outfits and body suit were accessorised beautifully to create the sensual appeal by designer Raakesh Agarvwal at the Wills India Lifestyle Week 2014.

Saree Body Suit – Designer Raakesh Agarvwal
It was one of the most peculiar patterns and creative too that was seen on the ramp at thE Wills India Fashion Week 2014. This design showed a bold yet ethnic craftsmanship.

Embellished Jumpsuit – Designer Raakesh Agarvwal
From his collection that was seen on the ramp at the Wills Fashion Week 2014, this is another peculiar pattern we spotted. The plain black jumpsuit with embellishments looked chic and bold.

Leather Works – Designer Raakesh Agarvwal
Thigh high slit gowns added to the oomph factor of the S&M collection. It is one of the weird patterns that were seen on the ramp at the Wills Fashion Week 2014.

Printed Skirts – Designer Rina Dhaka
There were a lot of flowy silk knee length skirts looked chic and girly. It is one of the weird patterns which was seen on the ramp at the WIFW 2014.

Sheer Matters – Designer Rina Dhaka
Sheer was widely seen in Rina Dhaka's collection. It is one of the best and weird patterns which were seen on the ramp at Wills India Fashion Week 2014.

Ancient Styles – Designer Shantanu & Nikhil
Shantanu & Nikhil has defined fashion to a whole new level at the Wills Fashion Week 2014.

Black & Gold – Designer Tarun Tahiliani
Silver and golden sequin detailing were seen in the bodice of plain coloured creations. While some were studded embellishments, there were a few which were accessories.

Art Of New Sarees - Designer Tarun Tahiliani
Brocade blouses were embellished with sparkling Swarovski elements. The colours blossom with youthful enthusiasm and resham embroidered kalis with floral artwork give a light romantic pastoral air.

Mesh Pants – Designer Vineet Bahl
These mesh embroidered palazzo pants is one of the innovations that we saw in the Utsav collection which was indeed a weird pattern shown on the ramp at the Wills India Fashion Week 2014.

Heavy Work - Designer Vineet Bahl
Somehow, we feel it could have made a better kurta than it makes a dress. The dress was heavy with embroidery which is why we think it is a peculiar designs that was seen on the ramp at the Wills India Fashion Week 2014.
