WIFW 2014 Day 5: Mrinalini
Mrinalini brought the touch of Kashmir on the ramp of Wills India Fashion Week AW 2014. Kashmir by Mrinalini picked up broken threads from tapestry of Kashmir and presented a raw collection. Rope jackets, maxis, waistcoat jumpsuits, handkerchief dresses, bomber waistcoat, shawl skirt, slouch kurta salwar pants, army jacket palazzos, bandhgala, skirt churidar ruled her autumn winter collection at WIFW 2014 ramp.
What a clean silhouette, in olive, black, tan and khaki, the collection was elegantly simple and pure like the soul of Kashmir. In short, the collection was a refreshing change with Jerseys and Raw Silk. Even leather with khaki was a nice combination.

Waistcoat Jumpsuit
Waistcoat jumpsuit with ropes looked chic and unique.

Jackets
Different types of jackets were showcased in her collection which brought the touch of Sufi on ramp.

Printed Palazzos
Like most of the designers, Mrinalini also showcased wearable printed palazzos.

Long knee length center-slit kurti with light prints on the tulle looked nice.

Flared pants were worn with matching short kurtas and stoles.

Khadi outfits and sleek jackets looked ethnic.

Kashmiri work on stoles looked elegant.

We even saw some gorgeous draping silhouettes.
