oil
is

However, today we'll be discussing on how olive oil helps in lightening the tone of the skin and treats pigmentation. Olive oil has the essential nutrients and Vitamins required for regenerating the dead skin cells and improving the skin tone. The antioxidants in olive oil helps in fighting free radicals and rejuvenating the skin.

Now let us see how to use olive oil in lightening the skin effectively.

Olive Oil And Cucumber
Cucumber contains Vitamins that helps in improving the skin tone and also lightens the appearance of scars. You'll need 1 tsp olive oil, 1 tsp milk and a cucumber. Peel off the cucumber and cut it into small pieces. Blend them to make a smooth paste. Add the milk and olive oil into the cucumber paste and combine all the ingredients well. Apply this mixture on your cleansed face. Let it stay for 15 minutes. Later you can wash it off in normal water.

Olive Oil And Glycerine
Glycerine has healing properties that will help in treating the pigmentation of the skin. It helps in reducing any kind of inflammation on the skin.
All you need is ½ tsp of olive oil and ½ tsp of glycerine. Mix together olive oil and glycerine and apply it on your face. You can also add few drops of lemon juice into it and mix all the ingredients well. Apply this mask on your face and let it stay for about 20 minutes before rinsing off in normal water.

Olive Oil And Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has alpha hydroxy acids that helps in getting rid of dead skin cells. Also the Vitamins in apple cider vinegar helps in lightening the skin.
First you need to dilute ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar in equal amount of water. Next add ½ cup of olive oil and mix both the ingredients well. Apply this lotion on your face and let it dry for 20-30 minutes. Later you can wash it off in normal water. You can also store this mixture in the refrigerator for future use.

Olive Oil And Castor Oil
Castor
oil
has

Fatty
acids
that
helps
in
improving
the
elasticity
of
the
skin
thus
treating
the
pigmentation
of
the
skin.
Mix 1 tsp of olive oil in 1 tsp castor oil. Apply this on your face. Gently massage in a circular motion. Leave it on for another 5 minutes. Later rinse it off using normal water.
