Different Ways Of Steaming Face
Face steaming is the method by which you cleanse your face and unclog pores using vapours or steam. If your pores are clogged, it results in skin irritation and infection. It has also been found out that one of the main reasons for acne or breakouts are clogged pores. Therefore, steaming your face is an excellent way to remove all the dust, dirt and dead cells on your face.
Steaming your face will cause it to be clean inside-out. Face steaming causes you to sweat and pushes out the dirt and debris by unclogging your pores. Face steaming is a simple process and you can easily do it at home.
Here are some different ways of face steaming.

Hot Water
For face steaming, first tie your hair back with a hair band or ribbon. Take a pot and fill it with water. Boil the water and turn down the temperature until the bubbling goes down. Transfer the water to a bowl and place the bowl on a table. Position yourself so that you can place your face over the bowl with ease. Put a towel over your head so that the steam will not escape. If the water is too hot, place your face further away from the bowl. Stay over the steam for 10 or 15 minutes, until the water cools. Cleanse your face with cold water. Pour some vinegar on a cotton bud and swipe your face with it.

Herbal Steam
If you want the added benefits of herbs while steaming your face, then you can try using herbal face steams. All you have to do is put herbs in the pot and boil it. If you have dry skin, lavender or chamomile will be beneficial. If your skin is oily then opt for sage or rosemary. If you have normal skin, then lavender or rose will do the trick.

Steam Iron
Instead of boiling water, you can use a steam iron. The steam iron is an excellent way to steam your face. It removes all the impurities and dirt that clogs your face, leaving it clean and fresh. Make sure to moisturize afterwards.
