Best Homemade Aftershave Oils For Men
Aftershave lotions and oils sold in the market may cause irritation or allergies to some men. Instead of endlessly looking at mass produced aftershave oils, you can choose to prepare homemade aftershave oil all from locally available items within your reach and from materials that don't cause any allergic reactions. Sometimes alcohol based aftershave oils can be problematic for reasons such as slowing of skin growth on parts affected while shaving.
One can choose to make their own homemade aftershave oil in form of a solution or bar that can be applied to soothe skin after a shave. While preparing the aftershave oils at home, you can choose to do so by using organic and herbal ingredients to minimise allergic reactions and post shave infections. Ingredients such as Aloe vera, tea tree oil, olive oil, bay rum, cucumber, vodka etc are popularly used to make homemade aftershave oil.
Once you choose the best suited aftershave oil depending on ingredients that suit your skin, you can use it like an upmarket solution through a spray bottle, store it in a refrigerator, transfer to an airtight storage box or in store in form of a bar in a cool place. Organic homemade aftershave oils will have limited shelf life without commercial preservatives. Hence it is important to use them accordingly and store them with precaution or choose to refrigerate till its use as aftershave to prevent rotting or unwanted reactions.
