How To Use Flax Seeds To Promote Hair Growth
There are scores of women all over the world who go to great lengths to get long and strong hair. Be it splurging big money on store-bought hair care products or getting cosmetic procedures done.
However, there are natural and holistic ways to promote hair growth that do not require you to empty your wallet. Numerous women have made use of natural methods to boost hair growth. And though there are various natural ingredients that you can use, there is one in particular that is known to yield great results. We're talking about flax seeds.
The compounds present in flax seeds have powerful antioxidants that can strengthen your hair follicles from the root and also promote their growth. Along with that, it has omega-3 fatty acids that can nourish your locks and prevent breakage.

Despite of its numerous benefits, if you do not use this natural ingredient in the right way then you may get little to no benefit. That is why, today at Boldsky, we've rounded up on some of the most effective ways of using flax seeds for stimulating hair growth.
Take a look at them here:

1. Flax Seeds + Amla Oil
Soak a handful of flax seeds in water for 6 hours. Afterwards, mash the seeds and mix them with 2 tablespoons of amla oil. Slather the paste on your scalp area and after 30 minutes, use tepid water and your regular shampoo to wash off the residue. Indulge in this process on a weekly basis to get long and beautiful hair.

2. Flax Seeds + Coconut Oil
Put a handful of flax seeds in a blender to get the powder ready. Then, mix it with 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Massage the blend onto your scalp area and leave it there for a good 40-45 minutes before washing your head with a shampoo and tepid water. Once a week, try this at-home treatment to get beautifully long hair.

3. Flax Seeds + Onion Juice
Mix 2 teaspoons of flax seeds powder with 1 tablespoon of onion juice and 2 tablespoons of rose water. Smear the paste all over your scalp area and leave it there for another 20 minutes before rinsing off the residue with room temperature water. Biweekly usage of this concoction can yield great results.

4. Flax Seeds + Egg White and Fenugreek Seeds
Mix 1 teaspoon of each, flax seeds powder and fenugreek seeds powder with an egg white. Spread the resulting material all over your scalp and let it stay there for about 30 minutes prior to washing your head with lukewarm water. Promote hair growth by using this material on a monthly basis.

5. Flax seeds + Olive Oil
Combine 1 teaspoon of flax seeds powder with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil. Apply the prepared mixture all over your scalp and permit it to stay there for about an hour before washing off the residue with lukewarm water. This specific method can be tried on a weekly basis for achieving flaunt-worthy long hair.

6. Flax Seeds + Garlic
Put a tablespoon of flax seeds and a garlic in a blender to get the powder ready. Then, mix the resulting powder with 3-4 tablespoons of rose water and slather it all over your scalp area. Try to massage for a little while before leaving it there for about half an hour. Use your favourite shampoo along with tepid water to wash off the residue from your head. This method can be tried once a month for getting desired results.

7. Flax Seeds + Aloe Vera Gel
Create a blend of 1 teaspoon of flax seeds powder and 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Smear the combined material all over your scalp and tresses. Let it sit there for about an hour before washing your head with lukewarm water. Twice a month, try this process to get well-nourished long hair.

8. Flax Seeds + Vitamin E Oil
Simply mix 1 teaspoon of flax seeds with the oil extracted from 2 vitamin E capsules. Put the resulting blend all over your scalp and let it stay there for a good 30 minutes before cleaning off the residue with lukewarm water. Indulge in this method on a weekly basis to boost hair growth.
