Parivritta Trikonasana
The word 'Parivritta' would mean 'turn round' or 'revolve'. Trikona would mean a 'Triangle', hence the name 'Parivritta Trikonasana' or the 'Revolving triangle pose' or the 'Twisted Triangle Pose' It is a counter pose to Utthita Trikonasana
1.Stand in Tadasana Inhale deeply and jump to have your legs spread apart sideways about 3 to 3 ' feet.
2.Have the arms raised sideways with palms facing down.
3.Turn the right foot at 90 degrees sideways and the left foot 60 degrees to the right with the left leg stretched out with the knees tightened.
4.Exhale and rotate the trunk along with the left leg in the opposite direction to have the left palm on the floor by the outer side of the right foot.
5.Stretch the right arm up in straight line with the left arm and gaze at the right thumb.
6.Have the knees tight and do not lift the toes of the right foot from the ground. Have the outer side of the left foot firm on the floor.
7.Stretch the shoulders and the shoulder blades. Remain in this pose for about half a minute with normal breathing.
8.Inhale and lift the left hand from the floor, rotate the trunk back to its normal position and get back position 1.
