Dahi Handi 2023: On the next day of Janmashtami, Dahi Handi is celebrated, which commemorates the mischievous deeds of Lord Krishna during his childhood. Lord Krishna is believed to be the 8th avatar of Lord Vishnu.
The term Dahi Handi comes from two terms 'Dahi' which means curd and 'handi' which means earthen pot that is used to keep and process milk products. person

the
topmost
part
of
the
pyramid,
known
as
'Govinda',
breaks
the
Handi
by
hitting
it
with
a
stick
or
their
hand.
