Tulsidas Jayanti 2023: Date, History, Significance, And Celebrations
Tulsidas Jayanti is an important festival celebrated in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Tulsidas, a renowned saint and poet. It holds great significance in Hindu culture and is observed with immense devotion and enthusiasm.
Legend has it that Tulsidas was blessed by Lord Hanuman himself, who appeared before him in physical form. This divine encounter played a crucial role in shaping Tulsidas' spiritual journey and inspired him to compose beautiful verses dedicated to Lord Rama.

Tulsidas was born on the seventh day of the Shukla Paksha (bright half) of the month of Shravan according to the Hindu calendar. He lived during the 16th century and is best known for his magnum opus, Ramcharitmanas. This year Tulsidas Jayanti will be celebrated on 23 August 2023.
Significance
Tulsidas Jayanti celebrates not only the birth anniversary of this revered saint but also his invaluable contributions to literature and spirituality. His works have deeply influenced millions, spreading teachings about righteousness, devotion, love for God, and moral values.
