Hanuman is an affable God who is revered and loved by Indians. It may be partly because of his powerful presence that is felt even today because he is still active (jagruta daiva).

It could be also because of his supernatural exploits ( like crossing the ocean with one leap) or because of powerful and intense devotion and loyalty that he expressed to Lord Sri Ram.

It is best to keep his photo where he is seen carrying the Gandhamadan Parvat at your home so that he will safeguard the house from any negativity. This is his most powerful pose. When Should You Worship Hanuman: Although you can worship Hanuman at any point during the Tuesday, it is always preferable to worship him either during morning or evening.

Tuesday is the most preferred day for Hanuman Puja. Hanuman was born on a Mangalwar. Wear an unstitched red coloured cloth, either a red saree or a red shawl and dhoti after your morning bath.

How To Worship Hanuman: Clean the north-east corner of the house to perform the puja of Lord Hanuman on this day and install a wooden pedestal for the puja in this direction. Spread a red cloth over it. Then place the idol or photo of Hanuman on it.

Don't forget to keep an idol of Lord Ram and Mother Sita with it. Then light a ghee lamp to the Bajrangbali. And recite the Sundarakanda. Then read the praise of Rama. Then offer red coloured flowers and Sindoor to Lord Hanuman.
