The Strange Dream Of Feeding Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda, as a wandering monk would sometimes inflict voluntary hardships on himself, to check if there was really a God who took care of the needs of His children.
Once Swamiji had gone without food for five days. He was given a train ticket by someone to Southern India in the course of His wandering, length and breadth of the country.
Getting out of the Railway Station, He was almost rudely pushed out of the waiting room. A man approached Him as He was resting on the ground.
“Come Swami, take this food that I have brought for you," said he!
Puzzled Vivekananda said, “You must have mistaken me for someone else. I have not seen you before!"
The man narrated to Swamiji of his strange dream. He had been taking a nap after his midday meal when God appeared and asked him to cook food and carry it to the monk whom He specified!
The man woke up from his sleep, but having coming to know that it was just a dream, he again resumed his sleep.
God again appeared in his dream and ordered him to carry food for the monk.
Here he was now with the food. He said, “Swamiji, please partake of this food"
Swami Vivekanada was stunned for words. He realised the truth that God rushed to the needs of those who looked up to Him as their only refuge!
