One other thing to be remembered is that what makes work burdensome is not the work itself but the idea that it is because of one's efforts that work is possible and fruitful. When the sense of doership is strong and constant, then worries about the manner of performing the job and fears relating to the results are inevitable. Meditation and self-enquiry would cut at the root of this idea.
