Sawan Somwar 2023: When Is The Last Monday Of Sawan Month?

Due to this Shravan being Malamas or Adhikamas, there are 8 Mondays. 7 Mondays have passed and the last Monday of this month will fall on 28 August 2023. This year, Shravan has started on Tuesday, 3 July 2023.

Som Pradosh Vrat will also be observed on the last Monday of the Sawan month. After this, Shravan is ending on 31 August 2023. It is said that all is well that ends well. That's why it is essential that on the last Monday of this holy month, one keeps a fast and worships Shiva to bring auspiciousness in their lives.

Sawan Somwar 2023: Puja Rituals To Follow
On this day, you need to take a bath in the morning and pray to Lord Shiva. You can visit a Shiva temple and perform Jalabhishek or Rudrabhishek. You can offer sandalwood flowers, light incense stick, oil lamp, belpatra, dhatura, shami leaves etc. to Lord Shiva You can recite Shiva Chalisa. You can then perform aarti of Lord Shiva or Mahadev.
