Sawan 2023: Why Last (Eighth) Somwar Vrat Is Special
Sawan is considered one of the holiest months in Hinduism and it is going to end on 31 August 2023. This year, due to an auspicious coincidence after 19 years, Sawan is present for 59 days, almost two months. This month is ideal for all auspicious works and it is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
During this month, Shiva devotees worship and follow rituals along with jalabhishek to please Bholenath and get the choicest of blessings. There is a belief that no matter who worships Lord Shiva, their wishes get fulfilled.

Seven Mondays of the Sawan month have passed and the eighth one is coming, which is equally auspicious. There is a belief that keeping vrat on Monday in the Sawan month removes obstacles from one's life and fills them with happiness, peace, and prosperity. Let us know why this day is special, and what puja vidhi to follow to please Lord Shiva.
