Navratri 2023: Ghatasthapana Muhurat, What To Do After Surya Grahan And Kalash Sthapana Timings
Shardiya Navratri 2023 Ghatasthapana Muhurat: Navratri is a very prominent festival for the devotees of Goddess Durga, who is associated with feminine energy, and power. Chaitra and Sharadiya Navratri have great importance in Hinduism.
During this period of Navratri, nine forms of Goddess are worshiped with complete rituals. It is believed that Maa Durga comes to earth during Navratri from Mount Kailash and fulfills the wishes of all her devotees.

This year, in 2023, Navratri is going to start from 15 October 2023 and it will end with Dussehra on 24 October 2023. The second and last solar eclipse of this year is going to occur on 14 October 2023. Let us know whether the solar eclipse will have an effect on Navratri as well.
Solar eclipse 2023 and the first day of Navratri are falling on the same day. The second and last solar eclipse of this year will start at 8.34 pm on 14 October 2023 and will last till 2.25 am. Meanwhile, Navratri will also start on 14 October 2023 at 11.24 pm.

Navratri puja begins with Ghatasthapana i.e. installation of Kalash. This work is done keeping in mind the shubh muhurat. Ghatasthapana puja will take place only after the solar eclipse ends. This work is necessary before Ghatasthapana after the solar eclipse.
Eclipse is not considered auspicious in Hinduism. During this period, religious activities were also prohibited. In such a situation, after the eclipse ends, sprinkle Ganga water in the entire house. Ganga water is said to purify the puja room and the Tulsi plant. Also, you can take a bath yourself and wear clean clothes. After this, you can also perform Ghatasthapana puja with full rituals.
