The Chaturthi tithi will begin on 31 October at 9:30 pm and it will end on 1 November at 9:19 pm. Karwa Chauth fast will be observed on 01 November this year. The fast is broken by observing a waterless fast for the whole day and offering Arghya to the moon on the same day. Therefore, the fast is broken only after moonrise on Wednesday, 1 November 2023.

What Is Karva Chauth Udyapan Vidhi Or Method?
Before breaking the fast on the day of Karwa Chauth, first offer food to Lord Ganesha. Break the fast by drinking water with your husband and after seeing the moon. Then 13-15 women gather together for the Udyapan of Karwa Chauth fast. After this, they are given suhaag items or things that are associated with a married woman. After this, food is consumed together. Women stand in line and touch their feet to get the blessings of blissful married life and then send off the women with respect.

How To Prepare Karva Chauth Thali?

In the Udyapan of Karva Chauth fast, first of all keep 5 puris and 5 halwas in 13 plates. After this apply roli, akshat and sandalwood on it. Now offer that plate as bhog to Lord Ganesha and Goddess Parvati. After this, feed Puri and Halwa as Prasad to the invited women. Along with this, keep the wedding items including kajal, bindiya, mehendi, bangles in another plate and place it in front of your mother-in-law and seek her blessings.

Gift this suhaag thali to your mother-in-law. If you don't have a mother-in-law, then you can give it to any old woman or elderly woman in your family.
