This year, it will be observed on 1 November 2023. The Chaturthi Tithi will start on Tuesday, 31 October 2023 at 09:30 pm and it will end on Wednesday, 01 November at 09:19 pm. Therefore, the fast of Karva Chauth will be observed on 01 November.

This year on the day of Karwa Chauth, two auspicious yogas will be formed and that are Shiva Yoga and Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga, according to Astrology. Apart from that Vakratunda Sankashti Chaturthi will be also celebrated on this day. Therefore, this day is ideal for people who want their wishes to be fulfilled. All you need to do is follow the puja vidhi that is associated with this day.

In order to fulfill your wishes on this day, wake up early in the morning, keep fast, and take a holy bath. Only after that, one is allowed to finish all the chores. Wear new and clean clothes and take a vow while meditating in your puja room. Now draw Karwa on the wall of the puja room with red mud. Spread a red colored cloth in the evening and place the idol of Lord Shiva on that along with Goddess Parvati.

Along with that keep lamp, vermilion (sindoor), kumkum, akshat, roli, and sweets in a puja thali, and keep the karwa filled with water. Also, offer 16 makeup items to Goddess Parvati during the puja. After worshipping Shiva-Shakti and Chandradev, one must listen to the story of Karva Chauth fast.

Once the moon rises at night, women look at the moon through the sieve, worship Chandradev, and offer Arghya. Then they look at their husband faces. After that, they drink water from their hand and then break the fast.
