Karwa Chauth 2023: This auspicious festival is associated with marital bliss and will be celebrated on the Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik masa or month. In Hinduism, this fast is observed by married women for the longevity and good health of their spouse.
This year Karwa Chauth will be observed on 1 November 2023. On this day, along with Karva Mata, women also worship Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha. On this day, before sunrise, married women consume food in the form of Sargi and after that observe Nirjala fast for the whole day.
